On June 12 2019, the leading Chinese health insurance choice platform and insurance tech company Waterdrop.Inc, with Waterdrop Insurance Shop, Waterdrop Mutual Help, and Shuidichou under it, announced that it had raised more than $150 million in a Series C round. The round was led by Boyu Capital and followed by Tencent, CICC Capital, Gaorong Ventures, etc., with China Taihecap as the exclusive financial advisor. The round raised the highest amount of fund in the field of Chinese internet health insurance.

As the exclusive financial advisor, China Taihecap claims that Waterdrop as acquired great amount of flow thanks to social scenes like WeChat. It learns the characteristics of users by big data, and participates in different phases of insurance by its powerful ability to operate, produce, and gather data, thereby creating medical payment and service platform of all directions.
